    1. [EVANS] William Evans & Sarah Jane Lloyd
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: l3lena Surnames: Lloyd, Evans, Andrews Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.evans/10008/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm looking for any possible relatives of the above couple. They married in Everton, Liverpool in 1909, but no father was given for Sarah on the cert. William was a baker, born in Liverpool abt 1888 (not sure about Sarah, but probably West Derby 1888), his parents: John Henry Evans, a Sawyer who was born in Chester and Elizabeth '??' born in York (& they had 5 other children). I think Wilm & Sarah had a son George in 1912, who may have died in infancy, and they also had Doris in 1914 (my grandmother). Would love to know if there were other children. Doris married (George Andrews) and moved to central Scotland. I might have found a death cert for Sarah J Lloyd, if she also came to Scotland, but hope to find someone to do a Reg House look-up for me (death 1973 in Larbert, Stirlingshire?). There were Evan/Evans people there since the late 1600s, I think. It isn't one of my surnames, but I have family in Chester Co., too, and there is a lot of Quaker documentation from there. I bet you can find lots of info. Good luck, Laura Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
