Searching for descendants of Jim Evans and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Trammell Evans, in order to exchange family information. They lived in Sunset, TX and also in Oklahoma, possibly Konawa and Ada area. UPDATE: Sarah's father was James Lloyd, her mother Mary Roberts (then Mansell, then Lloyd), not Mary Lloyd as given on death cert. William's parents were Elizabeth France and John Henry Evans. I haven't been able to trace Elizabeth, apart from her birth in Yorkshire abt 1858. Sarah Lloyd did come to Scotland, and died in Bellsdyke asylum in 1973. According to the 1820 Giles County, Tennessee Federal Census, my gg grandfather ,who was born 1821 in Tennesse, had three unidentified sisters. One was born about 1816, ONE WAS BORN ABOUT 1818, and the third was born about 1822. The father was an itinerate school teacher who moved many times and lived with his family in Giles, Maury, Hardeman, Stewart Counties (the ones I know of) in Tennessee from about 1815 to about 1839. His name was Ezer Evans and he married Susannah Lindsey in 1813 in Christian County, Ky. Their first born was a son in 1814, then an unidentified dau 1816, another unidentified dau, 1818.............could she be your Elizabeth?? Would be glad to help any way I can...
