AND a little more to be wary of: Variations of 'ILOVEYOU' Virus Evolve NEW YORK (AP) - New variations of the software virus that seduced computer users with an e-mail note proclaiming "ILOVEYOU" were already circulating by this evening (Thursday evening), including one disguised as a joke with an e-mail attachment reading "Very Funny". The virus has crippled government and corporate computer networks around the world. In another malicious twist, the virus was designed to destroy several types of increasingly popular computer files, including those storing pictures, video and music. ************************* If you click on the attachment for this new worm, you can just about kiss your graphics files and music files goodbye, forever, if you don't have them backed up! The present federal law considers this action a "minor crime". It should be a "Capital Felony", and the penalty should not be a maximum of 5 years in prison, it should be death by the crushing weight of 10 million computer systems! Actually, I think death by putting a computer monitor "where the sun doesn't shine" would be more appropriate, but that would surely be cruel and unusual punishment. SgtGeorge Listowner
