I was concerned about the Aureate matter since CuteFTP was listed as one of those programs, but my system scanned clean. The version of CuteFTP listed as having Aureate is CuteFTP 3.0. I use CuteFTP 2.8. It does what I want and I've been using it for 3 years. Just because a software is listed on the Aureate list does not mean it will positively load Aureate on your system. That's what OptOut is for ~~ cleans your system of Aureate files.
