Mike **************END OF ORIGINAL MESSAGE TEXT************** Sorry Mike, but as often as not, discussing Eudora problems involves much more than just PURE Eudora questions and answers. The fact that many Eudora users know very little about anything else in Windows hampers giving help to them. Having to learn how to use Eudora, while knowing little about Windows, really screws up the "learning curve" for users. If users like Mari, Jack, and others don't step in and help out on non-Eudora items, it would be kind of like trying to give advice in Japanese. So, when "computerese" is used, members can read the "words" about Eudora, yet not really understand. As an example, many, many queries have been made about Eudora's appetite for System Resources. Well, if we don't discuss, even just a little, what Resources are, how Windows uses them, I'm afraid many members might just shake their heads and give up. Yes, the latest threads HAVE become somewhat off-topic, but I truly believe we are doing something useful for our subscribers. If anyone DOESN'T need all the general help on non-Eudora subjects, then my advice is to just delete the non-Eudora email. We can all help here by making sure we change the subject line when we reply to an email and change the subject. That way users can see exactly what the message is about and delete it if it doesn't apply to them. SgtGeorge
