I recently upgraded from Eudora Pro 3.0 to 4.3 and I haven't been able to get Eudora to remember the password to start the dial-up. Nothing should have changed but something apparently has. I have checked the Save Password option in Options/Checking Mail. It's still checked. And every time I type in the password I check the box to have Eudora remember it. If I am already connected there is no problem. Evidently it remembers that same password to retrieve my mail. Does anyone have a clue what I need to do? Jim

Not sure with all ISP's and Eudora, but some ISP's require a cookie for their use, on your computer to let your password storage on Eudora work. Even though all POP servers should work the same, with all the virus problems and such some of the smaller ISP's are trying new things to help you, which sometimes hurt you. Jack
