    3. IS this a hoax? I have Norton Antivirus and it has been working great. I did find the file, but it says its in C:\Windows\Command, and was modified 4/23/99. If it's something that is supposed to be in the computer, I sure don't want to mess with it. 3. I just wish that users like Paul, who must be a "newbie", would check before sending out such bad information. One problem is that he blasted this all over the Internet, to just about all the addresses he had in his address book. Then, Bill (also a "newbie") forwarded it on to lots of other addresses. Folks, that's the way the writers of this infernal HOAX intended for it to be -- scare the BeJesus out of you and cause you to further propagate the HOAX. WARD OF WARNING!!!!! ANYTIME you receive an email of a VIRUS WARNING, please go to the web site for your particular Anti-Virus (AV) program and check it out. OK? And, NO, "better safe than sorry" is NOT a good rule to live by. A good rule is "better check it out before I do a knee-jerk reaction".
