Now I'm totally confused. I decided that I'd not be able to get everything fixed if I didn't try it. So, I tried fixing the toolbar. I started removing some of the hidden buttons, and lost the toolbar completely! I clicked on close on the customize window, and Eudora crashed again. So, I shut the computer down completely (powered down and all). When I brought everything up, the toolbar came back - the way I had started to try to customize it last night! Not the final layout, but one of the intermediate ones. Also, I'm back to not being able to shut off the "check mail" on the alternate personalities. So I deleted them, since the information was corrupt anyway. I tried adding one back in, and it doesn't appear in the personalities window, but is still checking mail! System resources are ok at this point - no errors, and Eudora used only about 12%. Also, I checked the registration information - it did register my first name, but nothing else. I went in and entered my last name and the reg code I had been given at upgrade, and it finally took it. We'll see if it holds..... Sandy Walroth [email protected]
