Hi, George, I was looking in the root file yesterday, and that's how I saw all of the program files, such as Eudora.log, .tip, .idx and all. What I didn't see was the Eudora.ini file. (I thought that it would specifically state that in the directory) Well, I went to looking at all the other files that look like "readme" files, and found it. It was just labeled Eudora until I clicked on it then it was stated as Eudora.ini. Anyhow, backed it up, so crisis will be averted should it ever come to that!!

I use DOS and the extensions, e.g., .ini, are always shown. If you use Windows Explorer, and have Windows configured to NOT show the extensions, then all you would see would be EUDORA, not EUDORA.INI. Here's how to change it so that the extensions will be shown. With Explorer open, click on VIEW, then FOLDER OPTIONS. There are three tabs at the top, with the middle one being VIEW. Click it. Under the first section, FILES & FOLDERS, look for "Hide File Extensions for Known File Types". Make sure that is UN-CHECKED. From now on, you will see the extensions, e.g., .INI. SgtGeorge
