Two hopefully good helps. Number one. Go to the Start icon, and left click it. on the drop down list (menu) pick Find on the next drop down, pick Files or Folders. in the new window, labeled Find: All files, Go to the spot labeled Named: and type in eudora.ini go to the Find Now button, and left click the button. The find function will find any and all copies of the file, eudora.ini on your computer. You can use this to edit the file, copy the file or other items. Number two. Open the explorer window, either by right clicking My Computer, and pick Explore or any other method you know to get the window open. Go to the menu line, and left click View. On the drop down, left click Folder Options. On new window, select the View tab. On this view, under hidden files, click on show all files. Go down to Hide file extensions for known file types, and un-click it. Click OK button. the *.ext should show for *.ini files as well as others. Now the bad part, may not always work, if you have a version of windows that some Computer Manufacture has done things on. Jack
