I get an error message that says Can't relay. Well, my temper got the best of me the other day after several trys, and I clicked on the send icon again....only this time with a deliberate action. I pushed the mouse key, and made sure that it was a full press.....and it worked. The thing went. Same thing happened today. Interesting, to say the least. Either I'm not completely depressing the mouse key, or the icon is not working properly. Don't know which, except that it's the only time I have trouble in regards to any clicking of that mouse key. Anyone else having the problem?? Mari **************END OF ORIGINAL MESSAGE TEXT************** This is indeed intriguing! I have the same thing happen to me with various different applications/utilities!!!!! I thought I was imagining things and that maybe sometimes keyboard entries and/or mouse clicks just didn't work because of very small glitches in Windows. I'm glad you sent this, since it makes me think that maybe it's more pervasive than I thought at first. About 10% of the time, when I highlight something, and then hit CTRL+C, to have something copied to the Clipboard via my ClipMate, nothing happens. Doing it again usually results in the ClipMate "pop" sound that lets me know it WAS copied. ????? I really don't think it's specific to Eudora; I think it's specific to Windows! As I've said many times before, there ARE things that definitely have problems in Windows, IF they are NOT Microsoft products. Wanna know what I think? MS built this problem into Win95 and Win98 so that there would be a few glitches once in a while, but not enough to cause "real" problems, in hopes that we users of 3rd-party programs would become disgruntled or disenchanted with them and switch to "real" Microsoft programs/utilities/applications. This "full press of the mouse key" (or, full press of a keyboard key), seems to be necessary often. I, too, have become so frustrated that I "HIT" the keyboard key and made it work. I mean "pounded" it! Does this make sense? Not unless MS has done something we don't know about. SgtGeorge

And you know, this is the same thing that is happening when I get that message that says that the server won't accept my send. I mean, it's all tied in together. The message won't send, I get that message on the task error bar...and then when I do a deliberate "hard" click (no, I do not pound the key <g>) then it goes. Sometimes I have to click on the "get mail" icon, becuase no matter what I do, sometimes the "send mail" one won't "take" at all. >I'm glad you sent this, since it makes me think that maybe it's more >pervasive than I thought at first. Irregardless, where would any of us be without the MS products? Problem or not, at least it works the biggest percentage of the time. No, I don't care whether it's Gates, or who it is. >This "full press of the mouse key" (or, full press of a keyboard key), >seems to be necessary often. If it isn't any more bothersome that it's being, I can live with it. At least I found somewhat of a solution. Mari
