I played with it last night late, and just by opening it, it reset itself to open with windows. I opened it again, un-checked all boxes, hit apply, and closed it. Then went to task bar and told it to close out, and then rebooted. It did not start up again, so am at a loss as to what is your problem. Maybe multiple copies in some start up. When you look at add/remove, it might be a part of norton systemworks tools or such, mine is labeled Norton SystemWorks 1.1. This uninstalls all the system works, but you can reinstall, with only the parts you want. Jack

Jack **************END OF ORIGINAL MESSAGE TEXT************** In reference to a reply I just make, the beauty of Xteq-XSetup is that you can see ALL the places that something like this is started up. It just MIGHT be loading in more than one place in the Registry. If you're using Xteq-XSetup, click on System, Startup, then just check out ALL the various settings. For instance, at first I tried to disable WebScanX (McAfee). Every time I rebooted, it loaded again. Then, I discovered it was loading from two different places in the Registry (as shown by two different entries in Xteq). A great program. And FREE! SgtGeorge
