    1. [EUDORA] Opening Default
    2. St.George & the Dragonslayers;-) I would like Eudora to open WITHOUT a new message ready to send. I have been searching the Tools/Options and can't find a choice anywhere. Every time I open Eudora, I have to <phftt> close the new message window, and THEN click that it's OK to close the window. I am using Eudora 4.2. I am sure there was an option in the previous version or I am looking right at it in this version with a "if it was a snake..." problem. Thanks in advance. [email protected], Patrice

    3. What do you mean by "ready to send"? ... a new message that is opened...a blank one? If you just want the blank Eudora program (without any open folders) just close them all before closing the program. Is it a shortcut, or under the start, programs list? Jack

[email protected], Patrice **************END OF ORIGINAL MESSAGE TEXT************** Patrice, you'll have to explain what you mean by "...WITHOUT a new message ready to read." Do you mean that you want to open Eudora without its logging on and downloading new messages immediately? If so, click TOOLS (in the Menu Bar), then OPTIONS, then CHECKING MAIL. In the box "Check for Mail Every ___ Minute(s)", change the number to "0" (zero). Then you will be able to open Eudora and NOT have it log on and download new emails. If this is NOT what you wanted, please explain. SgtGeorge
