    3. Hi George, Yep I know all about the Alt-130 trick to type an é. So many people don't know the trick and since I grew up in the era before computers, in order for it to be spelled right on all my legal records, had to use e'. I've sorta gotten used to that :) Talked to my computer guy about the clock and he said it wasn't worth bothering to replace the battery. I tended to agree with him and the time program works and doesn't use that much in resources (It's an itsy bitsy little program only 221k to begin with) so I keep it ;) I don't tend to have 10 programs open at a time, usually no more than 3 or 4, so the little extras in the systray don't bother me. And, heck, MaxMem refreshes my memory for me (another 200k program) so I'm all set. I've found that I don't have to reboot the system every day anymore. I've already gone over a week without a reboot and all works fine. I did get rid of the mixer and fax program in the systray, so now I'm down to the bare essentials :) Thanks for all the info about gaining and losing time, it is probably my battery, but since AtomicTimeSync is working, I'll stick with it. I'll keep the other information in mind. René <VBG>
