There should be absolutely no conflicts or problems in Eudora when you change to a DSL or cable hookup. All I had to do when I had a cable modem installed was to go Tools:Options:Internet Dialup and uncheck all boxes. You WILL have to reconfigure several places to change your old email address and server to the new one.
