Thanks- Nancy >==== I use Eudora 5.1, not Eudora Lite, but this same thing recently started happening to me--unexpectedly and without any notice.... it didn't always do this. Ex: the lines are squeezed together without any space between paragraphs, as in the original. Or when I "copy and paste" to Eudora email, (even FROM Eudora TO Eudora email) all formatting is lost and I have to manually add spacing between paragraphs or highlight and wrap around text, etc. Is this possibly a result of a virus which Norton AntiVirus didn't catch? Or is there something under tools/ options which might result in this? Patije PS I sent this yesterday but did not see it on list?!? My Eudora has been doing all kinds of silly things lately?!?!? copies of letters I SEND are supposed to be left in queue "out" marked as sent. Sometimes they are, sometimes they are not. I checked all my "filters" and I have none of them set for "outgoing" or "manual". All are set for "incoming" only! Some days I can not "preview" messages without opening them I see nothing. other days I CAN preview without opening them all. The copy and paste without formatting as described in reply to Nancy's message happens ALL THE TIME now. I think I am either losing my mind...or Eudora is behaving badly! giggle Patije
