    3. Can someone tell me if there is a way to stop unwanted email? I'm using Eudora 5.1. Is there away to set Eudora to block a specific email group? I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks, Candace

    3. Hightlight one of the messages you wish to stop. Click on Special>Make Filter on the menu bar. Use Trash as the Transfer to Existing Mailbox You can probably leave the rest of options default. They'll go into the Trash and you'll never see them unless you open your Trash Folder. Gene At 07:55 PM 2/7/02 -0600, you wrote: >Can someone tell me if there is a way to stop unwanted email? 3. Gene, Thanks for the help and the detailed instructions. I knew there had to be a way to do it. 3. Ok, I have another question. I use Netscape as server. Some of the unwanted email says you click here to be removed. (I had heard never to unsubscribe because then they know they have a real address.) My question is whenever I click to remove on some, the page comes up as can't find server - Microsoft Internet Explorer. Is there a way to get around that? I don't want Microsoft Internet Explorer as my server. Candace

    3. Hi Gene. As I replied to Candace's original post, this will only work on SPAM if the sender is using his/her "real" email address. Over 99.99% of SPAMMERS fake the From: address. 3. Candace, if you're speaking of "real" SPAM, there's no way to stop all of it. Senders use fake addresses, so there's no way to set up filters to divert their SPAM. The only recourse is to use the DEL key.
