    3. I use 5.1, but it should work in 5.0 as well. Exactly what did you do in the Filters utility? Did you have the "focus" in the list of filters? To make sure of the focus, just left-click one of the listed filters. You should then be able to do a CTRL-SHIFT-F and type in your search word. If you don't find any filters sending emails to the TRASH folder, that means you haven't made any, in which case Eudora should NOT be sending email to the folder. I do know that if you delete filters for certain emails, those emails will then go to the IN folder, not the TRASH folder.
