Lori, I changed the background color of all of my open windows to a light beige, which I like better then the bright white. To do this, right-click the open desktop area, select properties, then appearance. Locate the "item' box and select "window", then select the color you wish from the box to the right. As I said, this doesn't change just Eudora, but all open windows, but the color is not transferred to the printer. WARNING!!!!!! DO NOT select BLACK as your window color.
