Hello listers, I am brand new on this list but I decided to post my question immediately because I'm having a hard time with my Eudora and Rootsweb. As you can see, I am using my yahoo address as I was unable to subscribe with my Eudora address. The request was returned with the message "permanent fatal errors". Until about 2 months ago, I participated in Rootsweb lists with no problems, for approximately 3 years - subscribing, posting etc. Then, all of a sudden, I was no longer able to post. All my messages from my Eudora address were returned. I did not change anything on my Eudora. I don't know enough about computers to re-set things. So I don't know why this happened. I've checked in on Eudora sites but I'm too much of an amateur in computers to really understand what is being talked about. All that I know is that for 3 years I had no problem, then all of a sudden I can't even get off the lists if I want to because even my messages to leave the list are returned "permanent fatal errors". As well, emails to addresses that I used with no problem are now being returned. Addresses with juno in them for example. The thing is, I have corresponded with these people at these addresses for years with no problems. Now nothing goes through, everything is returned. My Eudora is an early version 3.0. Could that be the problem? Sorry for so long a message but I am feeling rather frustrated. I hope someone out there can give me some suggestions.
