Hi Patrice. Thanks for your reply. No, I do not have Corel Word Perfect on my system. If I hear anything that may help you. I will pass it along. There may be a setting within Word Perfect that will remove the tray icon. If not, you can go to 'Start", 'Programs', 'System Tools'. Once there you can run a configuration routine which shows you all of the programs that automatically start when you boot your computer. You have the option of not running them. I don't remember the exact commands to get there, but if someone else doesn't come up with it, I'll delve into it a little more. Thanks again for your reply and good luck with the alarm clock.
