Ginger, I found that Norton Crash Guard caused more problems than it was worth. I like using the rest of the utilities they have but not it. The only way I found to "get rid of it" was to uninstall the darn thing ~~ and I haven't missed it one bit :) !! I don't have any of the Nortion utilities in the start up. Instead I use them on a weekly basis by using the Task Scheduler and having them run while I'm sleeping. Saves on having the resources used at start up. Rene' >Thanks Jack..
