    3. Patricia, you don't need to copy and paste the notes from the Out folder. Just "Transfer" them into the folders where you want them. In fact, if you wanted to, you could set up filters to do the job for you. 3. Hi George, I do filter some of them to folders. I apologize because I wasn't clear. I cut and paste them into an Access database. The FCC option in the Replying does not seem to work in all instances. So I am at a loss on how to get a copy of all the notes I send with having to manually bcc myself each time. Any solutions? 1. [EUDORA] Can't Stop "Check Mail"
    2. Linda Darling
    3. (30 min. later!! This time I tried End It All after all the below, so I could shut computer off, but the computer got hung up on the "Windows Shutting Down Screen". Reset. Scandisk....etc, etc. Jumped on to send this... Byeeeeee) Good Morning! For the past week or so at approx. this time, I have been having problems with the check mail feature. It's the 2nd and last time I check mail before shutting computer off. The little black/white ball in the lower right hand is spinning around. The task bar, when opened, will say "waiting in the task queue to...." The problem is ~ it can go on for 10 minutes or more and I can't stop it so that I can shut the computer off and leave. I click on it and choose to Stop All Tasks. It doesn't Stop. (This also happened when I had mail to send.) I finally shut Eudora down, with warnings about the tasks. I acknowledge and shut off. When I go to shut the computer off, I get another warning - I acknowledge that the tasks won't be completed, etc. But the task must still be continuing because I end up Crashing every time, the screen freezes and I have to reset, then scandisk etc. etc. --- and then I am late for work!! The Crash error message I get is "Ole MainThreadWndName" if that means anything. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it. I don't know if the 9:00 am time is relevant. For Goodness sake, I had my computer on all last night and checked, rechecked mail with no problems. Oh - in looking at the help section - I saw where you can to Message/Change/Queueing. "Queueing" is grayed out. But it may be just to change something and not necessarily stop it. Linda --> watching the ball spinning 15 minutes later....;-( p.s. I just thought of something -- this letter probably isn't going to be sent.......

Go to where your mailboxes are stored: The default is: C:\Program Files\Qualcom\Eudora Then for the mailboxes that you can't open delete the .toc file. DO NOT delete anything that ends in .mbx. If I click on the mailbox on the left hand side an empty box appears on the right. There is a narrow strip at the top like it is the separation between the preview window and the list of e-mails in that mailbox. When I place the cursor over that line I get the double arrows like I can move the line down, but when I move it down it pops right back up to the top. I know I have e-mails in there. There are maybe six in the folder. Well, maybe more now since I haven't read that mail for about a week, but it's usually a fairly quiet list (HTML-HELP). I've looked in the help files but don't know what to call what I'm looking for. I looked for resizing a mailbox and don't see anything. Also, while on the subject of sizing, does anyone know how to make different mailboxes a certain size. They are all different sizes and shapes with varying degrees of the number of e-mails that will appear in the top box when using the preview pane. I have one that only will show me three e-mails at a time and is driving me crazy. I know I can scroll through the list, but it's so much easier to see a larger list. I tried pulling the line down, but when I open the mailbox again it's back to the small size. Thank you, Patty
