    1. Re: [EUDORA] Background printing in Eudora
    2. Mike Miller
    3. Lori, I changed the background color of all of my open windows to a light beige, which I like better then the bright white. To do this, right-click the open desktop area, select properties, then appearance. Locate the "item' box and select "window", then select the color you wish from the box to the right. As I said, this doesn't change just Eudora, but all open windows, but the color is not transferred to the printer. WARNING!!!!!! DO NOT select BLACK as your window color. In my Out box (Mac OS X, Eudora 5.1b14), there's a date column, just like in every other box... Is this a platform/version thing? Slán, Mo!

I have to drag them and resize them. They won't stay in that position next tme either. Can someone tell me wht I've done to cause this and to correct it? 3. Patricia, I now understand what you were talking about. You are correct in that the saved copies of outgoing email in the Out Box don't have the date and time. When I want an actual "sent" copy of an outgoing email, I just BCC myself as you say. I set up an alias for myself and named it "Me". Then all I have to do is type "Me" in the BCC header. Saves having to type or paste in my actual address. SgtGeorge At 05:27 PM 07/10/2001, maverik wrote: *********START OF ORIGINAL MESSAGE TEXT********* >Hi George, I do filter some of them to folders. Do you have any ideas? >Mike Mike, You need to have a copy of Eudora on the computer you are using in order to download your mail for it. But you can still use that service if you are away, but can still access a computer. According to the "About Mail2Web page" here is what it says: "mail2web does not download or delete your messages; it just lets you view the mail waiting on your server. Unless you specifically delete them, when you get back to your base your email will be downloaded to your computer as usual." So that means, you can delete any spam you get, while still retaining your messages so when you get home, you can download your messages the current way you are. Debbie

    3. I also use Eudora. This sounds like a very handy site. However, I put in email address and password, and when I clicked on "Check Mail" it brought up a web page that said the page could not be found. I clicked "refresh" and it took me to a page that said my email address and password were required, but there was no place to put them in. What am I missing? Sylvia G. 2. Candace, Both of my prior ISPs had arrangements with web hosting services. The first just gave me an addy to use to collect mail in the city I was visiting. The second gave me access to an online provider similar to mail2web. My daughter says if you know how (I don't) you can get your mail from almost anywhere. Check with your ISP first. Then if that doesn't help perhaps someone else on the list can help.
