    3. I have been trying to send an e-mail to my niece using the same address I have always used. Until yesterday I had no problem with this. Yesterday I received a message "an alias with a circular reference was encountered in this message. Please fix the alias and try again." I do not know what that means or how to fix it. I tried replying to a letter she had sent and I received the same message. Same message again when I typed in the address instead of using the address book. What does this mean and how do I fix it? Why would it work and then all of a sudden not work? Evelyn

    1. [EUDORA] disappearing messages
    2. Sylvia Gould
    3. My friend is a "beginner", using same Eudora as I have, 4.3. She has made additional mailboxes but just discovered that one is empty, regardless of the fact that she has transferred messages there. She did a test--transferred one to her "to do" box and saw it appear there, then one to her "save" box and saw it disappear. Where could they go and why? She said she looked in Trash and it wasn't there. It has always worked for me. Sylvia G.

    3. Normally you remove them before you delete the names from you address book. But since you have already deleted them, you will have to manually removed them from your list. Look in the Eudora root directory for a file named: RCPdbase.txt This file contains the nicknames of the people that are on your recipient list. Open the file and delete the line that contains the nickname you want to remove. 1. [EUDORA] Browser text size
    2. Pat Asher
    3. Eudora has taken over my default browser setting for text size. I often prefer *medium* and that was my setting before installing Eudora. Eudora has changed it to *smaller*. I can change it in IE 5.5 View > Text Size, but as soon as I open Eudora, it reverts to *smaller*. Any suggestions? Pat Asher
