My ancestor was also Joseph ETHERINGTON. But my Joseph was married to Hetty HOLMES (in 1821 in Brighton) and lived in Bermondsey and Southwark. Joseph and Hetty had children Joseph, Samuel, Anna, Henrietta, Harriet, Walter, Emily, Thomas and Henry. After Hetty's death, Joseph remarried, this time to Elizabeth POINTS (1843 in Camberwell).
