I have 2 ETHERINGTON families that marry in Bermondsey (Southwark) but so far I haven't been able to connect them. The first has Joseph ETHERINGTON, son of John, born c1795 in Southwark or just maybe c1799 at Arundel, Sussex. He married Hetty HOLMES in 1821 at St Nicholas Church, Brighton in Sussex. The other family is John ETHERINGTON born c1811 who married Sarah AUSTIN in 1829 at St Bride's, Fleet Street. Both families later live in Bermondsey, just south of the Thames. Along the way to searching these I have been trying to trace all members of the various ETHERINGTON families in Australia.
