My Etheringtons start with my ggg-grandmother Hannah (1812-1897) of Wheldrake, daughter of Thomas Etherington (1784-1856) and Mary Mawson. Thomas's parents were George Etherington (b:1744) and Mary Tindall of Hive (Bubwith parish) and George was son of another George Etherington (b:1697) and his second wife Jane Water, also of Hive. George was son of John Etherington and Frances Blanchard (b:1657) of Bubwith. Let me know if this fits with any of your research.
