I have not searched this family a ton and some of my info was lost when my computor crashed. I found James civil war records says he was born in Wilson County, Tn. In 1860 James is in Sumner County, TN where he married Margaret Gambol. There was a George Etheridge in the same county who married Eliza Jane Dickenson June 1854, I have been trying to figure ut who this George was. Maybe the son of Mathew born 1785 ? I am trying to figure out why James was in Sumner County in 1860. Also who is the Thomas Etheridge the dna test says you descend from ?
