Dear Estes Researchers, I found another Estes to add to my line and was wondering if anyone knows who this is. Julia Chambliss (also Juliett Chambers), d/o John Chambliss and Margaret Dally Estes. Margaret was the daughter of Edmund Estes and Charlotty Golding. Julia married a man named C. Robert Sambo Cowsert. I recently learned that his parents were James Cowsert (b. 1830) and Missouri Settles. I also learned that when James died, Missouri remarried to a man named William L. Estes. Who is he? This family is from Illinois, before that came from Tennessee and before that North Carolina and before that Virginia. (all in one generation). I was wondering if anyone had any other Cowsert / Estes connections that could provide some answers. April My family tree is a few branches short! All help appreciated.
