Have a new web page with information on Estes Family from Troup Co., GA & Cherokee Co., AL. Kimbrel Estes was born abt 1815 in NC and died in 1860. He married Rebecca Caldwell in Troup Co., GA in 1837. They had 10 children and my Great grandfather, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Estes was one on them. James Arthur Estes was born in 1821 in NC and moved to Cherokee Co., AL with his brother Samuel Peace Estes (b 1824 in NC) Due to a lightning strike, I lost my list of Estes correspondents.
