I happened upon a story at the Marion Co. Ark. website that was written by Thomas Jerome Estes in 1928. It is entitled "Early Days and War Times in Northern Arkansas". In the story he mentions several names I have seen in Estes research especially Woods. From what I could piece together his father was John Estes and he had brothers named Edward, Ben(B.M.), Jim, and Bill(William).
