Jordan married in Crawford Co, GA. 1860: This family group was found in Prairie Bluff, Wilcox Co, AL. Children - William C, Penelope G, Samuel C, Mary R, John W, Richard L, Willie M, all born 1839-1859. Penelope lists GA as state of birth. 1870: Census finds them in Newton Co, MS. William C, Mary R, John W, and Willie M were not listed among the children. 1880: Penelope is listed with husband William W. Walton in Neshoba Co, MS. Her mother Mary and brother Richard L. are living with them.
