I find in the 1880 census for Izard County the following family: ESTES, Zackoriah 66 b. abt. 1814 farmer GA SC SC ESTES, Nancy 35 b. abt. 1845 wife TN TN TN ESTES, Ellen 17 daughter Does anyone have any idea from what line these folks descended? Ron Estes

Zachariah Estes, born 1835, Gwinnett Co, GA. Married Nancy. No further details. Zachariah and Nancy were in Izard Co, GA by 1860. I believe the age "66" is a mistake and should be 46. Zachariah was the son of Charles and Mary Estes, both of Greenville Co, SC. Charles moved with his family to Gwinnett Co, GA around 1830 and in the late 1850's moved with his family to Izard Co, GA.
