I am looking for parents of Mary Jane Estes, born 07 June 1864 in Illinois. She married Amos High. I recently found a marriage in the FamilySearch I.G.I. for an Amos High and Jennie Estes, Oct 1, 1884 in Lancaster, NE. As the first child of Amos and Mary Jane was born in Lincoln, Lancaster Co, NE on 11 Nov 1887, I feel that marriage may be this couple. Family story says her father's name was Robert and mother's name was Elizabeth. In the 1910 census, Mary Jane says both parents born in Kentucky. Amos and Mary Jane returned to his home town in Whiteside Co, IL by 1893 where their second child was born and still there in 1900 when their third and last child was born. They were in Flandreau, SD in the 1910 census. Amos died in Verdi, MN 1926 and Mary Jane died in Lake Benton, MN 1943. Both are buried in Flandreau, SD. I have searched for her parents with no results. Can't connect in Illinois or Nebraska. Was wondering if you have any information on this family. I will appreciate any help you can give me.
