G'day folks, I got two queries today on the same chap .. Warfield Estes. Born 1821, Adair Co, KY. Died 1897, same. Married Mary Ann McKinney (that name sounds familiar!), 1840, Adair Co, KY. Kids: John Will, james W, Granville, mary Jain, Elizabeth, Josephine, infant, Susan josephine, Warfield Jr. Anyone heard of this chap? I don't have him in my files. One of the queries said they _thought_ his father was John Y Estes, b.1792 (whoever that was), another says Warfield's father was William, born c.1786.
