Does anybody have any idea who James Estes' parents are? They and some of their children moved to Dekalb Co., TN sometime before 1860. The 1860 census has him and Charlotte as being 68 yrs. old and his occupation was a blacksmith. They apparently passed away before 1870. My husband is descended from their daughter Mary Estes and her illegitamate son John C. Estes. Any help would be appreciated....I'm totally stumped!! R. Estes uchuujin@aol.com
