James Kennedy and Lucinda (Harris) Eagle (correct age 58) combined their families through second marriage. Believe William L. ESTES m Fredonia Eagle while in Dallas Co. Believe William L. died shortly before the Barry Co. MO. census of 1860: 842 EASTIS, Pheanda A (f) 32 TN Sarah T. 8 AR Mary C. 4 MO William L. 1 MO ( female, named Lucinda by 1860 and as adult) Samuel C. 17 TN (Lemuel C. Estes married, lived and died in Barry and Lawrence Co. MO.) Elisabeth A. ESTES (d/o Wm. L) m. Benjamin (Cannada) Kennedy. Benjamin was guardian of Elisabeth A. ESTES, d/o James H. James H. ESTES (s/o Wm. L) m. Susanna LANDERS 1861 in Lawrence Co. MO. James H. died as member of 1st Ark. Cav. in 1863, Susanna died in 1870 Pension records of James H ESTES: Child, Elizabeth A b Feb 1861 per statements of two step grandmothers who were present at the birth. Fredonia (Eagle) Estes, remarried name Mattingly by the time statements were made in the 1870s and Barsheba (Pannel) Landers, second wife of Elisha Landers, grandfather of Elizabeth A Estes.
