    3. I am trying to find a Christening or record of birth for the following: Thomas GALLEY, b. 1811 @ Felsted; and Robert GALLEY, b. 1815 @ Felsted I know that Robert's father was William GALLEY from his marriage certificate. The Felsted birthplace appears on numerous Census returns for Great Leighs and Chatley Hamlet. I have checked the PR's via SEAX with no luck. Was there a Non-Conformist church in Felsted? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Dennis Galley, Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada

    3. Hi all. I've just found a page on Ancestry's website which has this dire warning: "Most of these records are in the English language but there are also records in English" "For best results, you should first search using English words and location spellings. If you do not find what you are looking for, try using English." http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=1123 Please can someone help - this warning is in some strange foreign language and I don't understand it! Thanks, Lawrence

    3. Hi Lawrence, I have just followed the link you posted but it doesn't seem to mention the piece about the language that you noted in your message. All that I got on my screen was the search page for Settlers in Barbados and on the right hand side of the page a menu of items to choose from. No mention of the language of the records at all. Did you choose one of those items from the right hand menu before you got up the message about the English language, or something. Maybe I am missing something? Regards Jenny DeAngelis <<Hi all.
