Here I am again :-0 This time I'm looking for Phil[l]ippa GUNN from Halstead in the 1841 census. Hopefully, seeing as she was born about 1845/46 in Halstead, this will give me her parents and confirmation that she, and her unmarried sisters from 1891, were also the sisters of John GUNN b.1837/38 also in Halstead. Also. In 1891, I've lost track of an Ada Maggie GUNN b.1876 in Halstead. I suppose at age 14 she's old enough to be at work somewhere in the county. By 1901, she's in Steeple Bumpstead with her father, the same John GUNN from Halstead. I know exactly what happens to her from 1906 onwards - I'm married to her granddaughter! -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg.
Hi, Mike ! I think you need to check your dates ? IF she was born about 1845/46 she cannot possibly be in the 1841 Census ! She could only have been a "twinkle in her father's eye" at that date ! Best Wishes ! Roger. ---------------------- On 15 Dec 2008, at 23:21, Mike Fry wrote: > Here I am again :-0 > > This time I'm looking for Phil[l]ippa GUNN from Halstead in the 1841 > census.
