Hi Heather, Do you have access to Ancestry, UK censuses? Perhaps through your library? If so, select 1891, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select London. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Paddington from the left hand column Select St John You are then offered about 28 sub districts, with to the right of them their descriptions. >From reading 1 and 2 I can confirm Star St is not in those :-( As for Slarti, that is my nom de plume on a website I am also lurking and posting on today and I signed off with the wrong one.
