Am familiar with Web sites about these two villages, near Hatfield forest, but would be pleased to hear from people with ancestors from these villages. A great-grandfather of mine emigrated to Canada from there in the mid-1870s. It appears that his ancestors can be traced to the 17th century. It is still a rural area, from what I can gather.
