    3. Ambrose isn't listed in my book about Essex photographers. So can't help there, however the curator of the lovely Burnham on Crouch Museum almost certainly will be able to help if you email him on: histmus@aol.com Siggers: Until 1899, when the studio moved to larger premises, the renowned Colchester photographic business, the known as the Northlight Studio (studio in Isaac's Walk, shop front in Head Street) was owned by William Gill. In 1896 Gill had taken on a new manager, a Mr Siggers who I would think is your man or woman. Did Siggers take over the old premises and start up his own business in 1896?     3. The Northlight studio operated from 1865-1923+ at St Isaac's Walk, Colchester. Photographers included: James Barritt, F Braess, WC Buchanan, Wm Gill, Frank Siggers and Edward Steele. GW SIGGERS was a professional photographer between 1902-1914, though he may also have operated outside these years, one address he operated from is 50 Wellesley Road, Colchester. GWS was listed in Goody's Colchester Directory in 1903 Essex Country Telegraph in 1914. GWS did illustrations for History of the Ancient Church of St Peter & St Paul, Little Horksley by WF Dick. Frank SIGGERS was a professional photgrapher from 1905 - 1911 at the Northlight Studio, Sir Isaac's Walk, Colchester. He was listed in: Benham's Colchester Directories 1905-1911 Cullingford Colchester Directory between 1905-1911.
