Hello Listers! I have written this request before but my work has recently changed e-mail programs and the saved e-mails became unreadable - AAGH! So let's try this again. I am going to the conference in Colchester at the end of August. One of the free days, my colleague and I are going to attempt to travel over to Chelmsford and Galleywood Common to "walk" the land that my ancestors lived on - George & Charlotte (Drake) WEBB m. 1826 with children Isabella, Daniel, Jane, Elizabeth, Henry, Eliza and William. My problem is that we will be on foot (per se) and will be relying on the buses to get us to and from Chelmsford. Several of you wonderful listers gave me invaluable directions that have since been lost (please read the first sentence :o) and I would appreciate a patient repeat from you if possible. Thank you so much in advance! Margo, I seem to remember lots of detailed replies to this query last time; perhaps the quickest way to find them again is via the Rootsweb (online) archive.
