The last time I bought them the price was per sheet of fiche. As one register is usually 2 sheets, you have to budget for perhaps GBP4.30 plus postage at cost. I certainly recommend charging it to a credit card as ERO calculate the postal charge for you and add it to the total. CC payment also means that if you are outside the UK you don't have to bother with sorting out payments on a UK bank or sterling cheque or getting involved with currency conversions. The will certainly accept an enquiry by email, but I believe the sticking point is that they need you to sign a statement that you will respect the copyright and will not use it for commercial purposes (or whatever the legal jargon is this week!) so the application has to be via the hard-copy form.
