Dear List, I have been looking for the Parsons family, who lived at Southshoebury, "The Lawns", my direct ancestor is Christopher Parsons, who married Katherine Kennet. Chris parsons had two sons, one Chris Parsons junior, who was the natralist, the other my line Thomas, his brother. I was wondering if anyone else was looking for these also. chris senior, died in 1787. Going futher back i'm stuck as chris senior's father and grandfather were also of the same name. Eldest of these, outliving Chris (senior)- the one who married Katherine Kennet. They are mentioned alot in the history of the rochford hundreds, by phlip benton. Chris Parsons married Katherine Kennet i believe in 1732. I cannot find his father only grandfather, who died in 1713, which i have the will of.
