    3. I am looking for Robert bc1775, Catherine bc1770 & possibly William bc1763 & James ALEY bc1760. I have many of Robert Aley's descendants as this is my line. Robert was a tailor of Parkside Knightsbridge. Catherine who married John Hornsby in 1792 at St Mary Abbotts Kensington, was mentioned in Robert's Will as his sister. I have a short Tree starting with James Aley, a poulterer of Queens Buildings Kensington (almost opposite Robert's address off Knightsbridge Road) who is possibly a brother. Most of his children were baptized at St Mary Abbotts. William Aley whose burial I was given by St Mary Abbott's archivist, lived not far away at Gravel Pits Kensington. I have searched most of the PRs in the area, but found no baptisms of marriages. I understand there were a number of ALEY families around High Laver, Harlow, Romford & Epping areas in the 18/19th centuries, so hope mine migrated to London from Essex in the late 1700s I am also interested in any other ALEYs as I have a database with about 5000 names & only a few from this county. I am happy to search my db for anyone who asks. Pat Grove.
