    3. 1861 Census: James CLARKE (Born abt 1817 in Great Coggeshall) - Master on vessel "James Margaret"!!!! - in Hampshire waters. Also on the vessel was James CLARKE (born 1856 in East Donyland, Essex) who must be his son presumably. There is a death of a James CLARKE in September quarter of 1880 in Lexden district (Ref: 4a/253). Also spotted on the Ancestry website, somebody has posted details of James (senior's) ancesters, siblings, etc, living in Coggeshall. I am keen to attempt to find out why Erner as a middle name and also who her parents were. If identified does the Census give her parents birthplaces? Parents may be James and Margaret, but I am not 100% sure.
