Further to my earlier posting, I have found a note which I wrote at least 15 years ago stating that I found no COTTON baptisms at Great Stambridge 1810-1822. Lucy/Caroline COTTON possibly had a brother James born c1820, Canewdon. Perhaps this is where I should look for her baptism.
