I was wondering if anyone would have access to Birth and Marriage records prior to 1800 that would be willing to check a couple of names for me. Thank you Shelley
Civil registration started in England on 1st July 1837. Before this date births deaths and marriages can be traced via the baptism, marriage and burial records maintained by parish churches. So, to be able to assist you it is necessary for you to give more details - parishes, approximate dates, names.
